Author Guidelines
Academic papers – formatting
All papers must be submitted in two files: one without authors identification and other with it (both must be .DOC - we do not accept .DOCX or others)
1st file - Word (.DOC) - no authors identification: content in the first page (only): Title (all words in the title must start with capitalization letter); abstract with 250 to 300 words, in the same papers idiom (there is no accepted a translated abstract to Portuguese if your paper is in English). You have to use the conference template that will be available and must not have authors identification in the first file (if finds an authors identification, the paper will be eliminated).
2nd file - Word (.DOC) - with authors identification: content in the first page (only): Authors and institution (following the conference template standard); then the title (all words in the title must start with capitalization letter);abstract with 250 to 300 words, in the same papers idiom (there is no accepted a translated abstract to Portuguese if your paper is in English).
Size: A4 (29,7 x 21 cm).
Layout: Portrait
Margin: APA standard (American Psychological Association).
Letter layout: Times New Roman; size 12 (for text) and 10 (for sheets, figures, footnotes).
Spacing: simple.
Alignment: justified for paragraph and 1 cm in the first line.
Abstract: between 250 to 300 words.
The number of pages: 8 pages is the minimum and must not exceed 20 pages at all.
Pagination: a number of the page has to be inserted in the footed to the right side.
Acronym: when it appears for the first time, it has to described like that example: Universidade de Brasília (UnB).
Footnotes: it must be inserted by the end of the paper. Do not put as footnotes in the same page it is mentioned. If there are any thanks notes, it has to be inserted just in the second file (with authors identification).
Citation, References, Spread Sheets and Figures should follow APA Standard - American Psychological Association (APA).
There is a tutorial for APA available in http://www.apastyle.org/learn/tutorials/index.aspx.
